Cake Base

1 1/2 cups Whisk Mix

1 cup Sugar

1/2 Stick (1/4 cup) Melted Butter

1/4 Cup Water

1 Egg Yolk

Filling

4 oz Cream Cheese (at room temperature)

1 XL Eggs

1/2 Lb Powdered Sugar (2 cups)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.

Mix Whisk Mix and Sugar together, stir in melted butter, water, and egg yolk.

You will have a fairly stiff dough. Transfer to your baking pan and spread into an even layer.

Whisk the cream cheese and 1 egg together until smooth. Add powdered sugar and whisk until all is incorporated.  (Using an electric mixer will speed this step up).

Pour over the top of the cake, do not stir.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown on top and center is set.

Let cool completely, sprinkle with powdered sugar,  and cut into squares.
